AKMI carries three aftermarket exhaust manifolds for Cummins ISX engines: one for the ISX built before EGR, typically 1998 to 2002, and two EGR kits, one for 2003 to 2007 engines and one for late 2007 to 2010 engines with EGR and DPF. We sell complete manifolds. Each one is made in sections, so the table lists the kit and the part number of every section, the numbers you are most likely to find on the old manifold or the work order. How to pick the right ISX exhaust manifold
Start with the emissions setup. If the engine has EGR, the model year decides the kit: the AK-ISX.EM.K1 fits 2003 to 2007 EGR engines and can be used in place of kit 4962571, and the AK-ISX.EM.K2 fits late 2007 to 2010 CM871 engines with EGR and DPF. An ISX built before EGR, typically 1998 to 2002, takes the AK-3680650, a two-piece slip fit manifold. The K2 design came out in late 2007 for the 2008 models, so some 2007 engines take the K1 and others take the K2. If you have a 2007 engine or you're not sure which one you have, call us with your engine serial number (ESN) and we'll tell you which one you need.
The sections let the manifold grow and shrink as it heats up and cools down, but years of heat cycles can still crack it. A ticking noise at cold start, exhaust smell in the cab or soot around a joint are the usual signs. Our guide to exhaust manifold cracks covers the causes and what to check.
We sell complete manifolds only, not individual sections. If one section is damaged, call us with its number and we'll confirm which manifold you need.

Which one fits a late 2007 to 2010 ISX with DPF?
The AK-ISX.EM.K2, made for late 2007 to 2010 CM871 engines with EGR and DPF.
I have a 2007 ISX. Which manifold do I need?
It could be either one. The K2 design came out in late 2007 for the 2008 models, so some 2007 engines take the AK-ISX.EM.K1 and others take the AK-ISX.EM.K2. Call 1 800 247 7669 with your engine serial number (ESN) and we'll tell you which one you need.
What about a 2010 or newer ISX15, or an X15?

What comes in the K1 and K2 kits?
Three sections: the EGR end section, the center section and the other end section. The table above lists the part number of each one.
Can I buy just one section?
No. We only sell complete manifolds, not individual sections.
Do you carry gaskets for these manifolds?
Not at this time. We don't currently offer gaskets for these exhaust manifolds.
What if my part number isn't in the table?
